The utility cut fee is the fee from any excavated work done in the City’s right of way. Higher utility cut fee comes from the calculated unit cost. The unit cost from an arterial road and/or a recently paved road from the last 10 years would have higher fees applied. The utility cut fee breakdown is: Utility Cut Fee = ((Length of Cut (ft)+4 ft)*((Width of Cut (ft)’+4 ft)*10)*Unit Cost
