A resident wants to place a POD in front of their home. What do they need to submit to the City?

The resident needs to fill out an encroachment permit application and submit it to the Engineering Division of Public Works for review.

The applicant needs to provide the following information on the application:

1.) The reason the POD needs to be placed on the street, and the dates of drop off and pick up of the POD. (Ex: You have an active City of Pacifica Building Permit and need to use this space temporarily to house items while under construction OR You are moving in/out of the home and need time to load/unload the POD.

2.) The exact location of where the POD will be placed. The Engineer wants to ensure there are no site-distance issues.

3.) The dimensions of the POD.

If the POD will be present for more than 72 hours, a fee will apply, otherwise there is no charge if it will be there for less than 72 hours.
