For Utility Carrier installing fiber optics in the public right-of-way, there is an administrative process that must be followed before permits are issued. View the Administrative Process on our City's website. The property owner and/or contractor performing the work is required to fill out and submit an Encroachment Permit Application and Site Plan. The application must include a site plan showing dimensions and all proposed work before submitting to the Engineering Division of Public Works for review.
