If you have a sewer back up, save time and money by calling the Calera Creek Water Recycling Plant at 650-738-4660 during working hours (Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) or police dispatch at 650-738-7314 during off hours and holidays before calling a plumber. Wastewater crews are available to respond to sewer service calls 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They will determine whether the sewer problem is the City's responsibility (at which time the crew will fix it at no charge) or if the stoppage is the responsibility of the property owner (at which time the crew will then advice calling a plumber). Maintenance crews make every effort to respond to service calls within 45 minutes.
